Some Questions asked by Our Guests

Common Questions

Do I have to dress a certain way to come to your church?

No! “People look at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). On Sunday mornings, most ladies wear dresses/skirts. Some ladies do wear slacks. Men wear a shirt with a collar. Sunday and Wednesday nights are more casual.

Do you have a mid-week service?

Yes! We meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00. Our youth and children have their own classes in other parts of our facilities. Adults meet in the sanctuary. The adults spend time in prayer and Bible study.

Is there a nursery available during worship services?

Yes! We provide a nursery during our worship services from birth to 3. All of our workers have completed a background check. There is a nursery provided during Sunday School. During the morning service, all children, including nursery, are dismissed to their class before the message. Nursery is always provided as needed!

What about children’s ministry?

All of our children’s workers have passed a background check. We also have a children’s coordinator who oversees children’s activities throughout the year. We provide children’s church during the Sunday Morning and Sunday Evening services. On Wednesday nights we have Mission Friends for preschoolers and Children in Action for grades 1-6.

What about youth ministries?

All of our youth workers have passed a background check. We also have youth coordinators who oversee activities throughout the year. The church is currently looking for a youth minister that will come on church staff. The youth room is located on the second floor of the gym. On Wednesday nights, our youth have what they call “The Summit” located in the gym area.
