Bible Release Time
Our church has partnered with the Elgin Foundation to provide a special service just for children from grades 1-4 from the Sunbright School. We provided transportation on a yellow school bus from Sunbright School to the Church and back once a month. All children who participate must have a signed permission form from parents. Find out more »Big Emory Baptist Association Annual Meeting
The Big Emory Baptist Association (BEBA) is the local group of Baptists who have joined together for the purpose of ministry within our local area. We cooperate together for things like the Storehouse Ministry in Wartburg, the Ministry Training Institute through Samford, training and education of local Pastors and Church Leaders, and various other ministry opportunities. During this meeting, officers and leaders are elected, budgets are approved, and various types of reports are given.

These groups are the church's major small group experiences. We offer groups for all ages from nursery through senior adults. The groups are open groups and everyone is invited to participate at any time, even if you have never attended one before. When you come, enter through the main entrance and enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, and usually cookies or some form of dessert. there will be someone there to help you get where you need to be. This is our church's discipleship emphasis meeting. We will also do various church activities at this time such as movies, fellowship in people's homes, sometimes meet in Apex building, outreach activities, etc.

Every Wednesday Night we provide a simple fellowship meal. Everyone is invited. This provides an opportunity for those that work to be able to participate in the Wednesday Night Activities.

Our church joins with the AWANA Clubs to host a discipleship program for children from age 4 through 8th grade. There is also a youth group that meets at the same time for those in Hight School. We begin with a meal at 5:30. We meet in the Apex Building to for the meal. The children are then led to the Sancturary for a joint service, age appropriate training, and then a closing service. This is the church's primary weekly youth group meeting. Everyone who leads our youth has passed a criminal background check and gone through the church's interview process. All youth from grades 7-12 are invited to attend. From time to time some of our returning college students may participate. The group usually meets in the gym. This is a weekly Bible Study lead by our Pastor. We gather in the church's Apex Building. We usually begin with a fellowship meal. Bring a dish and join us. This is an open meeting and all are invited to be a part. The Apex Building is the building at the top of the hill, overlooking the gym and the main sanctuary.

Except for our Awana Children and workers (who will eat at 5:30), the adults and youth will participate in a fellowship meal in the Apex Building. This will lead to the Youth and Adult programs which will begin at 6:30.

"Saving Grace" is an in-house recovery home for women who are going through a recovery program. Once a year, these ladies are invited to come and lead our morning worship service. We are able to encourage, pray with them, and get to know them through a time of fellowship after the morning worship service.

Worship Service
This is the primary worship service of this church body. On almost every Sunday, we meet for a time of praise, worship, testimony, singing, prayer, and to listen to a message from our Pastor. Everyone is invited to attend.
Find out more »Operation Christmas Child Packing Party
This is an annual event where the church family will gather together and "pack a shoebox" for Operation Christmas Child and the Samaritan Purse international outreach program. Various items have been donated and we will place items within a shoebox and deliver to the appropriate place.

On the first Sunday of October, the church has a tailgate service. Everything is moved outside. We have singing, preaching, fellowship, and food. Everyone is invited.
